How we list custom content
How items are added
New items appear in the catalog from public pages of their original sources: The Sims Resource, The Sims Catalog and LoversLab (in the separate 18+ section). We record the title, description, preview image, category and the creator’s page.
What we check
- Each card must have a real description, a preview image and a working link to the creator’s page.
- Descriptions are rewritten in our own words so the catalog is not a copy-paste of source pages. Facts – item type, colors, requirements – are kept as the creator stated them.
- Items without a usable description or link are not listed.
Compatibility with game versions and DLC
We pass along the compatibility information the creator published (base game only, required packs, script mods that need re-enabling after a patch). We do not test files ourselves – the creator’s page is the source of truth for requirements.
Fixes and removals
Spotted a mistake? Use the contact form or the “Report a problem” link on any card. Creators can ask for corrections or removal at any time via the creators page or the DMCA page; removed items are taken down promptly.
